Return, Exchange & Shipping Policy
1. General Policy
All sales made through Ducic are deemed final. Due to the exclusive, limited-production, and artisanal nature of Ducic garments, returns, exchanges, or cancellations are accepted only under the specific conditions expressly stated herein.
By completing a purchase, the Customer acknowledges and agrees to be bound by this Policy in its entirety.
2. Return Eligibility and Notification
2.1. A Customer may request a return or exchange within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt of the order, as verified by the carrier’s delivery confirmation records.
2.2. After the expiration of this 48-hour period, no returns, exchanges, or modifications shall be accepted under any circumstances.
2.3. To initiate a return or exchange request, the Customer must contact returns@ducic.com within the stated timeframe and provide:
The order number;
A clear statement of the reason for the request; and
Dated photographic evidence of the item in its received condition.
2.4. Ducic reserves the sole and absolute discretion to approve or deny any return or exchange request. Authorization is not guaranteed.
3. Condition of Returned Goods
3.1. All items approved for return must be received in perfect, unworn, unwashed, and unaltered condition, with all original tags, labels, tissue, and packaging intact.
3.2. Items exhibiting any signs of wear, fragrance, damage, stains, alteration, or handling shall be considered non-compliant and ineligible for return or exchange.
3.3. Ducic reserves the right to inspect and assess any returned merchandise and to determine, at its sole discretion, whether it meets the standards of acceptable condition.
4. Shipping & Liability Disclaimer
4.1. Dispatch and Risk Transfer: Ownership and risk of loss or damage to goods shall transfer to the Customer once the order has been collected by the designated courier, messenger service, or postal carrier.
4.2. Ducic shall not be held liable for any delay, damage, theft, or loss occurring after the shipment has been handed over to the carrier.
4.3. Any claims for lost or damaged goods in transit must be directed solely to the shipping carrier under their terms of service.
4.4. Ducic is not responsible for any delivery delays, customs clearance procedures, import duties, taxes, or local delivery conditions that may affect the timing or state of delivery.
4.5. Customers are advised to ensure that accurate and complete shipping information is provided at checkout. Ducic shall not be responsible for misdelivery, redirection, or returned packages resulting from incorrect or incomplete address details provided by the Customer.
4.6. In the event that a parcel is returned to Ducic due to failed delivery or refusal of customs payment, all reshipping fees and associated costs shall be the sole responsibility of the Customer.
5. Returns Shipping Procedure
5.1. Upon authorization of a return, the Customer must dispatch the approved item within forty-eight (48) hours of receiving written confirmation from Ducic.
5.2. The Customer shall use a trackable and insured courier service for all returns.
5.3. All shipping, customs, and insurance costs associated with returns are the sole responsibility of the Customer. Ducic will not accept shipments sent collect-on-delivery or without prior written authorization.
6. Refunds and Exchanges
6.1. Where a return is approved, the Customer will receive a store credit equivalent to the original purchase price, less any shipping or handling charges.
6.2. No monetary refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
6.3. Exchanges are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
7. Final Sale Items
7.1. All custom, made-to-order, bespoke, altered, sample, discounted, or promotional items are final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or cancellation.
8. Quality and Craftsmanship Disclaimer
8.1. Ducic garments are crafted using fine materials and artisanal techniques. Minor variations in stitching, texture, color, or finish are inherent characteristics of handmade and limited-production luxury apparel.
8.2. Such variations shall not constitute defects and shall not form the basis for a return, exchange, or complaint.
9. Amendments
Ducic reserves the right to amend, modify, or update this Return, Exchange & Shipping Policy at any time, without prior notice. The version in effect at the time of purchase shall govern.
